MapleStory Birthday Bash

Maple Story Guides

Maplestory Warrior Guide

In Maplestory, the warrior is known for being the class with the most strength. If you want to have the perfect warrior build, this guide will teach you how.
Starting Out
When you get to the character creation screen and you're rolling your stats, don't just go for the highest strength and leave it at that. Warriors need to have specific stats for good builds. If you ignore these stats, you'll have a hard time getting to the top, and you probably won't even be able to. So, here's what you need to know about rolling your stats.
When you roll for your warrior, make sure the INT and LUK stats are both 4. This will take some time and patience, but you'll eventually roll those two numbers. If you really want to roll for the absolute perfect warrior, you'll have to keep rolling until you get 12 or more STR, 4 INT and 4 LUK, but you'll need to have another character backing him with financial support. If the absolute perfect warrior doesn't matter that much to you, just keep rolling until your STR is the highest and DEX isn't too much lower, say, three or four points.
1st Job Advancement
After you create your warrior, keep fighting until you reach level 10 and have 35 points in your strength stat. When you do, run over to Southperry and talk to a guy name Shanks there. Pay his 150 meso fee or complete his quest to travel to Victoria island. When you get there, move to the left of Lith Harbor and talk to Phil when you see him. Have him take you to Perion and climb to the very top, where you'll see a tent. Go inside and talk to Dances with Balrog, and from there you'll be well on your way to the 1st job advancement!

Maple Story Bowman Guide

When you first start your Bowman character, every time you level up, you will receive 5 ability points to add stats.
You want to know how to use these ability points from the very start to make sure that your Bowman is at his full power.
When you level up, click on "F" on the keyboard to bring up your stat screen, this is where you will be able to allocate your points into the stats of your choice.
The main stat for a Bowman is DEX, although in order to use certain armour for a Bowman, you must have high enough strength.
Bowman should always make sure that their strength is 5 points above what their level is. The best way to do this is every time you level up, put 1 point into strength and 4 points into DEX. By doing so, your strength will always end up 5 points above your existing level and you will not have any problems when it is time to upgrade your armour or weapons.

For Those Leeching Noobs

Iknow ,Of course, just picking up drops won't help enough. You need to use the free market as well, selling certain things you buy. One of the best things to start off with is quest items, because everyone does quests and lots of people want to buy items instead of killing monsters for them. This is a no-brainer: Sell quest items at the free market, and you'll be well on your way to meso-millionairedom.

Another easy method is to do quests. Not only does this help to gather quest items to sell later on, but it also gives you experience points, items, and mesos for each quest completed. If you complete quests, it's like killing two birds with one stone. Not only that, but if the quest requires you to kill monsters, you'll gain more experience from that, plus the experience and mesos for completing the quest and selling drops gained from killing monsters. It's that simple.

Maplestory Meso-Making Guide

Newbies need not to worry! The way to making easy mesos is here!
How do you feel when you've played Maplestory for two hours and all you have are a measly 2000 mesos? Just the way I did: Like it wasn't enough. Well, you're right, it isn't enough. You've probably figured out that you don't know the right way to making tons of mesos fast like everyone around you seems to. Well, if you want to do better, you've come to the right place.
Often, Maplers quit playing because it's "too hard" to make enough mesos in order to survive. But, there are some easy tricks you can use that nobody else think of when they stop playing. Here, I have 4 Easy Tips on Making Mesos:
Pick Up All Drops
Pick Up Other People's Abandoned Drops
Use the Free Market as Often as Possible
Do Quests for Extra Experience and Mesos
I'll make it a little simpler:
For one, make sure you pick up EVERYTHING. Lots of players just ignore monster drops because it fills up their inventories. This causes all of these drops to clump up together in popular leveling spots, making it easy picking for newbies and anyone else looking for some quick cash. When you fight monsters, make sure you pick up what they drop at all times, selling the items at shops when you inventory fills up.

Runescape Grand Exchange vs Real World Stock Exchange

I love to relate Runescape Grand Exchange as almost similar to the real world stock exchange. And if you track the history of human development, our ancestors started off as free traders too, until we have a centralized trading system now.

If you buy item A in USA, and another player sells item A in Australia, if both your order matched, the exchange will match the order.

This works exactly like the stock exchange.

Thousands of adults lose and make millions of real cash in the stock exchange every day. In the world of Runescape, players make and lose money too.

And because I make money trading the stock exchange, so it only makes sense for me to make millions of gp in Runescape too

Exchange Fundamental Secrets

Runescape Grand Exchange was introduced in 2007. Other Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games like Word of Warcraft and many others have what we called auction houses.

The Runescape Grand Exchange created by Jagex, was first of its kind and have several unique features which I will go through as you read on.

Free World Trading vs Runescape Grand Exchange

Before the switch to the new trading system, Runescape is a world of free trading. Every player can buy or sell gold and/or items freely among themselves. This creates a huge problem for Jagex.

Thousands of website sprung up all over the places to sell Runescape gold and items for real cash. And Jagex treat this very seriously.

So, in order to stop this from happening, and thousands of other players paying cash to other website rather than Jagex themselves, they switch to the exchange system.

This greatly impacted millions of players, as most of them quit, only a handful of them cracked the code of the Runescape Grand Exchange and multiply their wealth in Runescape many hundred folds.

Although you will spend a lot of mesos

Although you need to take note of the MapleStory warrior tips adversities such as the assassins and bowmen have an advantage over the warrior as they can attack long range so that means they can kill monsters quicker than warriors and this could possible lead warrior to being KSed. When it comes to speed warriors are the slowest and their lack of accuracy skills is usually a warrior's biggest downfall.

Don't despair as warriors are able to compensate by using sniper potions and pills as well as equipment scrolled with DEX scrolls. There is an unfortunate side when warriors have to kill monsters as they have to get up close which results in them being hit more often and end up spending more mesos on equipment. There is an advantage as warriors can hide their entire head by wearing the Jousting Helm and if you spend some more NX cash you can cloak the helm.

Although you will spend a lot of mesos initially you are able to make up for it later in the game as your defense grows stronger. So warriors your most important MapleStory warrior tips is to grow form strategies to become stronger and take caution against the orange mushrooms, dangerous forests on Maple Island.

MapleStory Warrior Tips

So you want to become a warrior? Well here are some MapleStory warrior tips to guide you to becoming a mean warrior as the warriors are the strongest melee characters when it comes to raw damage and they also have the largest amount of HP and the highest defense out of all the classes. Warriors are sub divided into fighters, pages and spearmen and each warrior has its pros and cons.

Here are some MapleStory warrior tips on the pros which will help you build your warrior character. Warriors are the strongest attackers when it comes to raw damage and they have the strongest armors for defense. Your aim is to reach level 60 as quickly as possible as you will then have twice the amount of defense than say the magician on the same level and you will receive the power guard skill which will help you reflect damage back to the enemy.

Warriors have the ability to tank most of the monsters and are able to hunt higher level monsters due to your HP, DEF and high damage advantages. Warriors are perfect opponents for magicians as well as thieves due to them being able to kill monsters quicker than any other character.

Maplestory Thief Guide - The 2nd Job Advancement

When you reach level 30 as a thief, you're ready to get the 2nd job advancement. You'll have to choose whether to become a Bandit or an Assassin. Depending on what your focus is up to this point, you probably already know what you want to become. Read these tips to know what to do.

After getting to level 30, go to Kerning City and talk to the Dark Lord. He'll tell you to see the job instructor at the construction site. Head over there and talk to him. After doing so, he should take you to a secret room where you'll fight monsters, your goal being to pick up the dark marbles that they drop. After getting 30 of these marbles, climb up and talk to the job instructor again and he should take you back to where you were before. He'll give you an item called the "Proof of Hero". Take it back to the Dark Lord and he'll make you choose between two jobs: Bandit and Assassin.

The Bandit is the melee thief. He's a bit like a faster, more accurate Warrior with a little less power. A Bandit's most powerful skill is Savage Blow, which allows you to hit three times with one attack. Assassins have cool abilities like jumping while throwing ninja stars, giving them the upper hand over Bowmen. They're probably the most expensive class, however, but they make a ton of mesos to make up for it. Choose which one you want to become, and the Dark Lord will grant you your new job. Now you're stronger than you ever were before, with new abilities and more strength.

Maplestory Mage Guide

This Maplestory mage guide will help you start out with building the best mage around. Mages are renown for being able to make the most mesos, most probably because they are adept at attacking multiple monsters at once. They're great fun, and are also useful for backing another character financially, such as a perfect warrior. However, mages are also the hardest to start out with, and are physically very weak with very low HP. But they make up for it later on, as you'll see when you follow this guide.

Rolling Your Stats

When you roll for your stats, make sure your STR and DEX are both 4. It will take a while to get it right, but it's definitely worth it. After you start out, make sure your LUK is always three points above your level (so if you're level 9, your LUK should be 12). Put the rest of your points into INT. This will raise your MP and allow you to use more of your mage skills.

Becoming a Mage

When you reach level 8, travel to Ellinia and climb to the very top of the village. You should see an old man floating near the top of the highest building when you go inside. Talk to him to become a mage. He should give you a starter wand, so don't buy one before you get there. Also, make sure you don't go above level 8 before you become a mage.

When you do become a mage, make sure your LUK is always three points above your level, and put as much after that into your INT stat. Don't overshoot it or put any points into any other stats.

Maplestory Warrior Guide

After you reach level 30 and you choose your 2nd job, you probably want to find a place to train. However, that seems to be a little harder than you thought it would be. There are many places to actually train, but this is where you'll learn the right places to train for the best levels, as well as which monsters to fight.

Levels 30-34: Ideally, you should find Trixters and fight them. They're quick experience and easy to fight. The only move up and down, so it's easy to avoid them. They can be found in the Eos Tower.
Levels 35-39: Jr. Kitties in Orbis are the ideal target for these levels. Alternatively, you can also fight in the Evil Eye Cave, which earns faster experience but costs a lot of money. Teddies are also a good source of experience.
Levels 40-44: Jr. Boogies at the Evil Eye Cave are the best for these levels. Also, if you can, do the Ludibrium party quest, it's also a great way to train, but it can be slow since it takes time to find others to party up with.
Levels 45-49: Train in Floor 8 or Hidden Tower and fight Block Golems for the best experience. Alternatively, you can fight Fire Boars and Copper Drakes at Dangerous Valley, but it's slower. A better way would be to fight the Lanterns in Mushroom Shrine, but be prepared to buy a lot of potions.

Maple Story 4th Job Guide

When you reach level 120, you'll be able to get new job advancement. This is the last one you'll ever need, and it's also the most powerful for any class. Here's what you need to know about each class' individual advancement:

White Knights become Paladins, Dragon Knights become Dark Knights, and Crusaders become Heroes. Priests become Bishops, Mages become Arch Mages, Rangers become Bow Masters, and Snipers become Marksmen. Hermits become Night Lords, and Chief Bandits become Shadowers.

In every case, in order to get the Maple Story 4th job, you need to talk to the NPC you spoke to in order to get the 3rd job advancement. Then you'll be told who to meet to get the 4th job. For Bowmen, the NPC is Legor. For Warriors, it's Harmonia. For Magicians, his name is Gritto, and for Thieves, it's Hellin. All 4th job advancement NPCs will ask you to get two items: a Heroic Star and a Heroic Pentagon. They're dropped by Griffey and Manon, but you can also get them by giving a Secret Letter of Spell scroll to Chief Tatamo in Leafre. You can buy said scroll in the 44th floor of Eos Tower from a someone named Vega. It costs 10 million mesos.

Maple Story hight skill guides

This is a very very simple quest, probably one of the easiest in the entire game. After you get all the Mushrooms, you will need to take it back to Pia and to get your Scroll!

You will get a ARMOUR SCROLL from Pia. This is Amazing because depending on which scroll you get, you can sell it anywhere from 99,999 mesos (which is unlikely) to 2 million mesos!

John sold his for 1.2 million mesos! You do not need to keep these scrolls at such a low level because there is no reason for you to use scrolls. Furthermore, it is only a 10% scroll, thus your chances are not that great in successfully getting it off. Please sell this scroll! You will make money from it! Remember: Scrolls = Mesos!

Maplestory Magician Tips

As we all know magicians powers are used for magic attacks and casting spells so here are some valuable Maplestory magician tips that will help you through the game. Firstly you need to know that magicians are weak and have to advance to level 10 enabling you to join the other three classes.

Just know that at the start of the game it is more difficult for magicians to kill enemies as opposed to the other classes. It is wise to spend your skill points on nimble feet or three snails that's if you have money for potions or alternatively if you are a new player then spend your skill points on recovery.

Here are some Maplestory magician tips when you are ready to become a magician. Firstly you need to decide what type of magician you want to become for instance Lukless magicians have points added to INT and the gear cost more than the normal magician. Magicians are also able to make use of all the gear available on any level.

Another Maplestory magician tip is that if you have been trained by Mai as well as recommended by Lucas you are able to take Shank's ship without paying and in addition get 100 HP as well as 100 MP pots from Olaf. Once you have reached Ellinia go to the magic library and speak to Grendel who will increase your max MP considerably as well as give you 1 SP.

By using shell throw as a beginner you will be able to fight much larger monsters and for taking down mushrooms it is well worth using a pair of red shells. When you have reached your first job you will advance and improve your skills quickly and you should have reached level 20. When you are on level 20 you will e able to do more damage than any other of the classes because you will be granted the magic claw which is an exceptionally powerful first job spell.

To be able to make the most of your Maplestory magician tips you should think of downloading the Maplestory magician guide which will enable you to create a powerful character as well as become a master in spell casting helping you get the most out of your skills and abilities. You need to have expert magical skills as you have very low health and without powerful magical skills you will easily die at the hands of the monsters.

A Guide on How to Make Mesos Faster in MapleStory

This article covers more tips for Merchanting in the MapleStory game to help you make more mesos faster.

Do you know that one of the best ways to make huge amounts of Mesos quickly in MapleStory is to do Merchanting? Yes, it is true! The term Merchanting in the game means you buy items at low prices and subsequently to sell them at high prices to other Maplers in the game to make a lot of mesos for yourself.

Here are some tips for Merchanting:
You will need to set up a free market shop for yourself. You will need to sell many items that you have bought or collected, or had other players collected for you in the game.

It is also great to get a good reputation of having good items for certain quests or rare items that people are looking for so that other Maplers will come to you for buying and selling of items.

The final key is staying up to date on items. You do not want to get left behind, because like Wall Streets, prices for the items are changing every day, it is very important to stay up to date on the prices for your items and keep on top of your inventory if you really want to make more MapleStory mesos.

Lastly, Merchanting is all about skills, the more buys and sells you perform, the better and more seasoned you will get!

This can be such a fun strategy for making mesos fast in MapleStory, do try it out!
