Maplestory Shop Permit Guide

Obtaining a shop permit is the most direct, and often easiest method of making mesos. It is not uncommon to see people in the fm(free market) asking how to set up shop and how to get it. The following is a walkthrough of how to obtain a permit and the basics of how to use it.
The first thing you need to know is that, in most versions of Maple Story, it costs real money to purchase a store permit. Important note: Due to a change in a recent patch there is a Level 16 (lvl 16) requirement for shop permits in Global Maple Story (gms) and likely in other versions of Maple Story as well.
There are, apparently, 1 or 2 versions of Maple Story which allow some form of item exchange for "cash shop points". In this guide, and Maple Story Global, the exchange system is called the Maple Trading System (mts).
To acquire the "points", also known as nxcash, a-cash, or whatever is used as cash for the version you are playing (Call them points or "cash shop points".) you have to log onto the website where you obtained your version of Maple Story and follow the website directions to pay for and receive your "cash shop points".

Normally there are a variety of store permits

Generally you can obtain "cash shop points" through the opening page of the website. You are not quite done yet. After you get your points, you need to log back into in the game. Just follow the steps outlined below:
1) Enter the cash shop
2) Select the ETC tab,
3) Then select the store sub tab.
In this section you should see, at least 1 kind of shop permit, as well as several other shop related items. Just click buy on the shop permit you want and follow the instructions in the game.
4) Choose your desired Store Permit and follow the directions.
Normally there are a variety of store permits to choose from; however, there are factors you should consider before making your purchase. Obviously you will have to have enough money for the permit. The cheapest of the store permits on Global Maple Story is roughly pennies a day, and the most expensive permit, if used on a daily basis, costs approximately a dollar a day. You must also consider your other resources, such as, the amount of time you have access to your computer, your computer's stability, and your network stability.

Let were Malestory contiue guides!

Fourth and Fifth parts are the left/right heads, completely identical to the preliminary heads, minus the super knockback. Namely the breath attacks dealing 5,300 damage. HP1/MP1 as well, though unlike the preliminary heads, these two do not cast seduce. They summon red, blue and black Wyverns at about 75%, 50% and 25% HP respectively.
Sixth part is the middle head, almost identical to the left and right ones except with more HP. It also casts full map dispel at 50% HP. It also summons Wyverns just like the other two heads.
Finally, the Seventh and Eighth parts are the left and right arms. These will cast status effects throughout the whole fight, but their more annoying trait is the mana burn skill. Which deals 1 damage, but burns around 2,000 MP. They also cast mass seduce at 50% HP, which seduces the first 10 people to sign up.

Which have rather high touch damage

Horntail is a monstrous dragon with an incredible amount of power, it is easily capable of crushing unprepared parties. Though with a properly prepared and organized party it is not nearly as difficult as it looks. The Horntail fight occurs in three stages, though the third stage consists of many parts of its own. The first two stages are the preliminary heads, which pale in comparison to what will follow. The third part is the real thing, far far harder than the prelims. The third stage is naturally Horntail itself, which is comprised of several parts. These parts need to be defeated in a certain order.
The first part is the legs, which have rather high touch damage (around 14,000) and two kinds of stomp. The first kind is a super knock back attack, the second type is a stun attack. They both deal the same damage, around 7,700 unbuffed and 9,800 buffed.
Second part is the tail, which has an absolutely insane touch damage (over 30,000 when buffed) it also has a poison gas attack which deals damage every second, though it's insignificant.
Third part is the wings, which summon Cornians occasionally. But the main worry about the wings is the attack buff it gives every other part. Once the wings die, its fairly smooth for the rest of the fight.

where you will find extra powerful

If you've been training up well in MapleStory, you've probably reached the time when you will be able to advance to the 2nd job advancement.
It is a good idea to note that at level 30, a magician is much more powerful than the other classes. This puts you at an advantage and you may be able to level up faster at this point.
So once you reach level 30, you will want to return to Ellinia and speak to Grendel the Really Old. After talking to him, he will send you to the 2nd job advancement instructor in The Forest North of Ellinia. Talk to him and he will take you into a tree, where you will find extra powerful horned mushrooms and curse eyes. They drop dark marbles, so pick those up until you get 30 of them. When you finish with that, talk to the instructor and he will send you back to Grendel the Really Old after giving you a Proof of a Hero. Grendel will see your new item and then he will ask you which path you want to take.
Most people don't choose fire/poison, but it isn't bad in any way. Ice mages can freeze and kill their enemies quickly, and lightning comes with that class as well. In fact, lightning attacks allow you to kill up to 6 enemies at once, which is very powerful and useful to say the least. The last 2nd job advancement choice you could make is to become a Cleric, which eventually becomes very, very rich. You will also have the responsibility of healing your party in party quests.

Maplestory Dragon Knight

After reaching level 70, obtain a Dark Crystal. Travel all the way to Orbis and head down Orbis Tower in order to get to El Nath. At El Nath, look for the highest portal on the map and go inside it. There will be three people inside it, one of which is named Tylus. Speak to him and then return to Dances with Balrog, who you should find in Perion. When you speak to him, he will teleport you to a dungeon. Walk through it until you reach the 24 hour store, named Ant Tunnel park. Find the Door of Dimensions and go inside.
Go to the end of the area you just got to, you should find the Dark Warrior. He will drop a black charm when you defeat him.
Go back to Dances with Balrog and give him the Black Charm. He will take it from you and in return, he will give you a Necklace of Strength, which you need to bring back to Tylus in El Nath. When you finish doing so, leave El Nath using a door to the right. Keep heading through portals until you reach the map titled "El Nath: Ice Valley II". Go to the very top until you reach a portal to Sharp Cliff 2. When you get there, you will have to find a secret portal in the top right part of the map, so just keep pressing up in that area until you find it. When you get inside, you'll be in the map "Holy Ground at the Snowfield". Find and double click on the green dot and you will have to answer five questions.

Hired merchants have different guides

The regular store permit requires your computer to be on and logged into the Maple Story with your character present in the free market, only allowing you to chat. This is the cheapest permit and the preferred one if you have the computer resources and the money. If you do not have a stable computer and/or internet connection, this may not be the choice for you.
The hired merchant is probably a better choice If you have limited computer access. Though hired merchants have different styles and durations, they all have the same basic function, that is, to "sell" your wares for you. You do not have to be logged on or even present in the free market to make use of a hired merchant. Hired merchants have different "looks" that you can choose from, the most common of which, is a mushroom looking shop. There are also "robot" shops and coffee shops as in GMS. The hired merchant is the best option if you only have one computer and do not have continuous access to a computer, or a stable setup. The downside of the hired merchant is that it costs more and has to be reset at least once every 24 hrs.
5) After you've purchased the permit, you have to move the permit from your cash item list to your inventory. Double-clicking on the permit will place it in your inventory.
6) Once your permit is safely a part of your inventory, you need only double click on the permit when you reach a position in the game where you can open a shop. For example you locate a spot in the free market rooms. When you have located a spot, simply add a name for your shop and click open.
